Welcome to the Vertex User Manual.
 
Vertex is the map editor that combines the ease of open-source mapping with the quality, freshness, sources, and privacy of the TomTom map. This manual provides general guidance, step-by-step instructions, and demonstration videos to support Vertex users.
 
Use the navigation panel to the left to access content about the Vertex interface, such as the My History panel, or map features that are editable in Vertex, such as Points of Interest. Each page includes a Table of Contents on the right that allows you to navigate directly to the subtopics. If there is a specific action you want to perform in Vertex, such as enabling a source layer or creating a road line, you will find specific instructions, as well as a screenshot or demo video illustrating the steps of those instructions.
 
In addition to the tips, instructions, and videos found in this manual, you can find answers to frequently asked questions in the Vertex FAQ.
