A

ACC

ACC (Arterial Classification Code) attribution represents a hierarchical classification of roads and ferry connections that is used in network routing applications. The ACC value that is assigned to a particular road or ferry connection is based on the importance of the role the road or ferry connection plays in facilitating optimal traffic flow in the complete road and ferry network.

ADR

 ADR is French for “European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road” which is a treaty dating back to 1957 from the United Nations regarding the governance of international transport of Dangerous Goods. The original French name for the 1957 Treaty was:

“Accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises Dangereuses par Route”

FRC "Motorway" (10) is the highest road class. FRC "Other Road" (80) is the lowest road class.

Glossary

A glossary is a collection of words pertaining to a specific topic. In your articles or dissertation, it’s a list of all terms you used that may not immediately be obvious to your reader. Your glossary only needs to include terms that your reader may not be familiar with, and it’s intended to enhance their understanding of your work. Glossaries are not mandatory, but if you use a lot of technical or field-specific terms, it may improve readability to add one.

Knowledge Base

A knowledge base is a self-serve online library of information about a product, service, department, or topic. The data in your knowledge base can come from anywhere. Typically, contributors who are well versed in the relevant subjects add to and expand the knowledge base. The content can range from the ins and outs of your HR or legal department to an explanation of how a product works.

Logistics

Refers to restrictions on trucks and/or private buses that are stored on road lines.  These include items such as Max Weight, Max Height, Max Length, and Max Width.

Net 2 Class. Classification is based on the importance that the constituting roads have in the total road network.

POI

Point of Interest is a named locations such as shops, hospitals, or parks.

Refers to the geometry of lines that represent vehicular and non-vehicular roads.

stacked POIs

A group of POIs found at the same location.  They appear as a stack on the map.

Traffic Restrictions

Refers to restrictions that prevent certain types of traffic from traveling in certain directions, such as those found on one-way streets or bus-only routes.
